Our small leather goods are shipped in photography archival boxes. These durable leather-like finished boxes are made in Ohio and have a safe archival lining for long term storage of small leather goods made in any material.

Our handbags are shipped in natural tone linen dust bags. These dust bags are strongly recommended for storage of your handbag to prevent dust accumulation as well as avoid direct long-term exposure to wood, laminate or painted surfaces when the handbag is not in use.

Accessories made with Linton Tweed

The ideal care for our handbags made with Linton Tweed is to store them in the provided dust bag when not in use. This will prevent dust accumulation as well as possible discoloration from exposure to wood, laminate or painted surfaces over extended periods of time.

Accessories made with Patent Leather Finishes

Over time, patent finished leathers may dull slightly due to fingerprints. To restore the finish in such cases, we recommend a light brushing with a dry cotton, cotton-based or synthetic cloth. Please avoid using wool or paper-based products (paper towels for example) as they are not as effective and can also potentially be abrasive.

In cases where a more thorough cleaning is necessary, please use a non-abrasive leather cleaner in conjunction with a cotton, cotton-based or synthetic cloth, in accordance with the directions for use provided on the leather cleaning product.

For long term storage, it is important to avoid direct contact with plastic, other leather items, wood and painted surfaces as patent leather finishes are more prone to react with long term contact to such surfaces than many other leather goods. Storing your items in the box or dust bag is the best preventive solution.
